installation (Chrome, Edge, Brave):

  1. Download and extract the .zip file
  2. Open your browser and go to chrome://extensions
  3. Enable Developer mode (toggle in top-right corner)
  4. Click Load unpacked and select the extracted folder
  5. The LaterVault icon will appear in your toolbar

first-time setup:

  1. Click the LaterVault extension icon
  2. Go to Settings and enter your API token (get one below in API Tokens)
  3. Save — you're ready to bookmark!

Firefox users: Firefox support coming soon. For now, use the bookmarklet.

Save any page to LaterVault with one click. Drag the button below to your browser's bookmarks toolbar.

how to use:

  1. Drag the "Save to LaterVault" button above to your browser's bookmarks/favorites bar
  2. When you're on a page you want to save, click the bookmarklet
  3. A popup window will open with the URL and title pre-filled
  4. Add tags, notes, and save!

Note: You need to be logged in to LaterVault for the bookmarklet to work.

Tip: If your bookmarks bar is hidden, you can usually show it by pressing Ctrl+Shift+B (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Shift+B (Mac).
